Cricket is a very traditional game at Prep. The school plays in the local school competition as well as a range of invitational fixtures against schools such as the Anglican Church Grammar School (Churchie), Brisbane Boys College and Nudgee College.

In addition, Prep undertakes a tour to Sydney every second year. For the tour, the First and Second teams play against Trinity Grammar School for the Loxton Cup and the Kings School, Parramatta, for 'The Ashes'.
