Mr Bruce J Howden, OAM
From the Headmaster
We believe we have a really distinctive school where there is a clarity of purpose to achieve our goals:
- Nurture our students to become socially reliable members of community who are keen to accept leadership.
- Educate children in an atmosphere that celebrates every individual's success. Dedicated teachers, small class sizes and a strong curriculum, emphasise standards that form the key elements to our academic program.
- Provide a wide range of opportunities from the sports fields, to the music and craft centres and to the theatre such that students discover their talents and use these as part of their emerging self-confidence.
Yes, Prep is unique in Australian education. I consider it a great privilege to have the opportunity to lead this wonderful school.
We trust that, as you look for a school for your child, you will visit The Toowoomba Preparatory School. We would enjoy helping you to know Prep better.
